My friend and I have just returned from a visit and both of us were delighted that we had chose this place to stay. It is in a great location, everything you need is nearby. It is very clean and comfortable and has everything needed for your stay. What I was really impressed with was the fact that there is a downstairs toilet as we are both in our seventies. We will most certainly book another trip and stay there
We stayed in The Bottle House for 6 nights and it was wonderful. Easy to find with the clear instructions, very nice to have a private parking spot and in a quiet street. Entering the lovely house makes you feel very welcome with fresh flowers and everything super clean. Spacious bedrooms with comfy beds, 2 bathrooms with everything you need. That was noticeable all over. Hand soap at every sink, very well equipped kitchen, every time I thought “would this or that be there” it always was!
Inside also very clear instructions about the house and the surroundings. We loved being a short walk away from shops and restaurants. We drove to Huntingdon twice to take a train to London, very smooth. Of course we visited Cambridge, nice to be so close by.

April 2023 . A spacious, clean, modern, well furnished property in a quiet location within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The owner had put fresh flowers on the dining table and a 2 pint bottle of milk in the fridge for our use. Excellent.
Great accommodation, spotless, great location, we will definitely be back for another visit.
We had a mini break of 3 nights at the Old Bottle Store in St. Ives Cambridgeshire. Accommodation was clean, spacious and ideally located for a 5 minute walk into the town centre. The two bedrooms were large with en-suite shower room and toilet. Kitchen / Diner was large and well equipped and the living room was comfortable with smart TV and Wi-Fi connection. Private on-site parking for one car was ideal for us. St. Ives is centrally located for visiting Cambridge and Ely. The town centre has plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from and there is a popular market on Mondays. We enjoyed our stay and we would like to say thank you to Helen for making sure we were well provided and our holiday was relaxing and enjoyable.

The beds were very comfortable lovely crisp linen and fluffy towels.
The kitchen was really well equipped plus the bonus of the beautiful Italian restaurant Amore right on the river with incredible food and service!!!
10/10 for cleanliness and the fresh flowers on the kitchen table is a lovely touch too.
The property itself it a stone throw from the shops which meant once parked our vehicle rarely moved position.
It was great to visit the market in the town too.

Helen was incredibly accommodating when we required a 2 week stay for 3 people at very short notice. In the middle of quite a stressful time for me and my family the old bottle store provided the tranquil, homely solace we needed to provide much needed relaxation and reassurance. The house is so beautiful and a real home from home with everything you could possibly need to live well and happily for any period of time. The fantastic lime green oven gloves were a particular highlight! The house was spotless when we first arrived but the offer of a mid stay clean (we stayed for 2 weeks) was a very welcome addition as well. The booking process, arrival and departure were so simple and we were given a very good deal going to Helen direct through her website. The old bottle store has 10 out of 10 from us and we would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a beautiful home in the centre of equally beautiful St Ives.
Really enjoyed our stay at The Old Bottle Store. The property is lovely, centrally placed! We walked miles around the town and to neighbouring villages and didn’t use the car from the moment we arrived. Good busway service to Cambridge which starts just round the corner. The property is beautifully presented with a lovely sitting room and really nice bathrooms and kitchen! Although I have to confess I didn’t use the kitchen as the local eateries are very good and walking distance! Lovely break thank you!
The house is a delightful , modern conversion of an Old Bottle Store. It is in the centre of picturesque St Ives with lots of lovely walks nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Fabulous place. Very comfortable with all the amenities you want. All the furnishings are of a very high standard, very clean and close to shops.
